Job Requirements
- Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state or within a commutable distance
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to perform physical demands including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions including extreme heat and cold
- Available to work Tuesday through Friday, 7am to 2pm, 3-4 days per week
- No prior experience required but must demonstrate customer service skills
- Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend and write simple correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
- Proficiency in basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with money units
- Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand parking rates and time-related charges
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Provide exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner
- Park and retrieve guest vehicles promptly and safely
- Assist guests with luggage during arrival and departure
- Greet and acknowledge guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor
- Provide guests with information about hospital services, local amenities, and transportation options
- Manage vehicle keys and claim checks accurately, ensuring security and proper documentation
- Calculate and collect parking fees when necessary
