Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver's license for the applicable state or commutable distance
- Minimum of one month related experience and/or training or equivalent education and experience
- Knowledge of customer service principles
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend and follow simple instructions
- Strong communication skills
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Understanding of time and rate calculations
- Physical ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work AM or PM shifts
- Commitment to provide friendly and professional hospitality service
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must hold a valid driver's license for the state of work or commutable distance
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one or small group situations
- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and multiply/divide by tens and hundreds
- Ability to perform calculations using American money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand applicable rates for time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
- Greet guests within five feet and use guest last names during interactions
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
- Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries
- Provide information about facilities and local attractions
- Deliver messages, items and guest amenities
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
- Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys
- Collect claim checks before issuing keys
- Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
