Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license for applicable state or commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent education and experience
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend English
  • Ability to handle basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Ability to operate a vehicle safely including manual transmission and parallel parking
  • Ability to maintain professional demeanor and communication skills
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and stand or walk for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and multiply and divide with tens and hundreds
  • Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintains pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers and clients
  • Acknowledges and greets guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Uses salutation of the day and welcomes guests to the location
  • Practices proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Posts up in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • Parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assists guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
  • Provides guests with information about facility outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions
  • Delivers messages, items and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttles guests to approved locations
  • Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures upon guest arrival
  • Issues claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collects claim checks before issuing keys
  • Completes and maintains all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt consistently
  • Calculates and collects revenue when needed for parked vehicles
