Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license for the applicable state
- One month related experience or training
- Ability to provide friendly and professional guest service
- Ability to safely park and retrieve vehicles
- Physical capability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Availability to work the specified part-time schedule Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
- One month related experience or equivalent education and experience
- Knowledge of customer and personal service principles and processes
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to understand and communicate simple instructions and correspondence
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic with money
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
- Effective communication skills in one-on-one and small group situations
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
- Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
- Practice proper Towne Park phone etiquette
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
- Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and inquiries
- Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms and amenities
- Deliver messages, items and guest amenities as requested
- Shuttle guests to approved locations
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
- Issue claim checks after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks from guests prior to issuing keys
- Complete all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey and claim check receipt
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles as needed
- Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
- Total job functions account for 100% of time
