Job Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger endorsement
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to pass criminal background check, MVR, and drug screen
- Maintain valid driver’s license at all times
- Pass annual or semiannual MVR checks
- Completion of Wheelchair Safety Training
- Possession of current Medical Examiners Certificate
- Maintain DOT endorsements and complete bi-annual physical exams as applicable
- Able to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work Monday to Friday shifts with specified hours
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to assist patrons with entering and exiting vehicles without lifting guests
- No night or weekend work required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must possess a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger endorsement
- At least three years of commercial driving experience or nine years driving experience as a licensed driver
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
- Passed criminal background, MVR, and drug screenings
- Completion of Wheelchair Safety Training course
- Possession of current Medical Examiners Certificate
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively in small group and one-on-one settings
Job Duties
- Shuttle guests to appropriate approved locations and remember pick-up and destination points
- Communicate courteously and professionally with guests, location staff, and co-workers using multiple communication methods
- Operate and inspect shuttle vehicles seating sixteen or more passengers including daily safety checks
- Assist guests with wheelchairs, maintaining wheelchair safety and cleanliness, and ensure proper use of specialized equipment like wheelchair lifts
- Maintain vehicle logs and report any malfunctions or damages
- Uphold guest confidentiality in line with HIPAA requirements
- Occasionally perform light snow removal from parking lots and vehicles
