Job Requirements
- Applicants must pass a background check
- applicants must pass a drug screen
- proof of employment eligibility in the U.S.
- ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, twist, kneel, and reach continuously throughout a shift
- ability to push and pull carts or equipment over 100 lb on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift
- must handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectants
- must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles
- knowledge of OSHA regulations related to cleaning practices
- strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- familiarity with environmental services and sanitation practices is preferred
- ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
Job Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, and vacuuming
- ensure all areas are sanitized and meet health and safety regulations
- maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages
- follow established procedures for cleaning and waste disposal
- collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery
- respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff or management
- assist in training new housekeeping staff as needed
- uphold HHS's standards of quality and customer service
