Job Requirements

  • Applicants must pass a background check, drug screen, and provide proof of employment eligibility in the U.S.
  • Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, twist, kneel, and reach continuously throughout a shift
  • Ability to push and pull carts or equipment over 100 lb on tile and carpeted floors continuously
  • Must handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectants
  • Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to cleaning practices
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Familiarity with environmental services and sanitation practices is preferred
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required

Job Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, and vacuuming
  • Ensure all areas are sanitized and meet health and safety regulations
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages
  • Follow established procedures for cleaning and waste disposal
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff or management
  • Assist in training new housekeeping staff as needed
  • Uphold HHS's standards of quality and customer service
