Job Requirements
- Applicants must pass a background check, drug screen, and provide proof of employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, twist, kneel, and reach continuously throughout a shift
- Ability to push and pull carts or equipment over 100 lb on tile and carpeted floors continuously
- Must handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectants
- Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to cleaning practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Familiarity with environmental services and sanitation practices is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
Job Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, and vacuuming
- Ensure all areas are sanitized and meet health and safety regulations
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and waste disposal
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff or management
- Assist in training new housekeeping staff as needed
- Uphold HHS's standards of quality and customer service
