Job Duties
- Perform daily and periodic cleaning tasks in assigned areas to maintain cleanliness
- Sanitize floors, walls, windows, doors, fixtures, furnishings, stairways, elevators, entrances/exits, horizontal surfaces, bathrooms, unit common areas, utility rooms, and patient rooms
- Execute cleaning tasks according to infection control policies using proper tools and techniques
- Respect patients and their families by maintaining personal dignity and values while performing cleaning duties
- Adapt to assignment changes as required by Environmental Services Leadership to meet hospital needs
- Identify opportunities for improving cleanliness and efficiency
- Maintain a safe environment by following body mechanics and lifting techniques
