Job Duties
- Sanitize floors, walls, windows, doors, fixtures, furnishings, stairways, elevators, entrances/exits, horizontal surfaces, bathrooms, unit common areas, utility rooms, and patient rooms
- Perform both maintenance and restorative cleaning tasks
- Follow infection control policies using proper tools, body mechanics, and lifting techniques
- Respect patient dignity, values, and their family and friends while performing duties
- Adapt to changing assignments based on hospital needs as directed by Environmental Services Leadership
- Pursue opportunities for improvement and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability
- Maintain a clean, safe, and attractive environment for patients, visitors, and staff members
