Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- At least 1 year environmental services or housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks including lifting and use of cleaning equipment
- Availability to work PRN (as needed) shifts
- Ability to follow strict Infection Control policies
- Ability to work cooperatively with hospital staff and patients
- Effective communication skills

Job Duties
- Perform daily and periodic cleaning tasks in assigned areas
- Sanitize floors, walls, windows, doors, fixtures, furnishings, stairways, elevators, entrances/exits, horizontal surfaces, bathrooms, unit common areas, utility rooms, and patient rooms
- Execute cleaning tasks following Infection Control policies
- Use proper tools, body mechanics, and lifting techniques
- Show respect for patients' personal dignity and values during cleaning duties
- Pursue opportunities for improvement and demonstrate flexibility with assignments
- Adapt to changing assigned areas as needed according to hospital requirements
