Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- At least 1 year of Environmental Services or Housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to follow infection control policies and cleaning protocols
- Must be capable of physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Effective communication skills

Job Duties
- Perform daily and periodic cleaning tasks in assigned areas to maintain cleanliness
- Sanitize floors, walls, windows, doors, fixtures, furnishings, stairways, elevators, entrances/exits, horizontal surfaces, bathrooms, unit common areas, utility rooms, and patient rooms
- Conduct both maintenance and restorative cleaning tasks depending on needs
- Adhere to Infection Control policies using proper tools, body mechanics, and lifting techniques
- Show respect for patients’ dignity and values while performing cleaning
- Pursue opportunities for improvement and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in assignments
- Adjust to changing assignments as determined by Environmental Services Leadership
