Job Duties

  • Responsible for proper preparation of patient and cafeteria food service as required by local, state, and federal standards
  • adhere to sanitation policies required by local, state and federal standards
  • follow recipes and plan menus to ensure quality and compliance
  • maintain cleanliness and organization in food preparation areas
  • collaborate with kitchen and hospital staff to meet patient dietary needs
  • monitor food safety practices to prevent contamination
  • assist in inventory control and food storage management
