Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum five years of commercial food preparation experience
  • Prior hospital food service experience preferred
  • Ability to follow food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Proficient in reading and writing English
  • Commitment to maintaining hygiene and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or GED preferred

  • Five years of commercial food preparation experience desired
  • Hospital food service experience highly preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations

Job Duties

  • Prepare patient and cafeteria food service according to local, state, and federal standards
  • Adhere strictly to food sanitation policies as required by regulations
  • Assist with menu planning and recipe execution
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of food preparation areas
  • Monitor food storage and inventory to ensure compliance with health standards
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to accommodate special dietary needs
  • Comply with all health and safety protocols to ensure patient wellbeing
