Job Requirements

  • High school education or GED preferred
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Five years commercial food preparation experience desired
  • Hospital experience preferred
  • Knowledge of sanitation policies and food safety standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and plan menus
  • Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or GED preferred
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Experience in commercial food preparation
  • Prior hospital food service experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and hygiene practices
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare patient and cafeteria food according to local, state, and federal standards
  • Adhere to all sanitation policies required by regulatory authorities
  • Follow established recipes and menu plans to ensure consistency and quality
  • Maintain cleanliness of food preparation areas and equipment
  • Monitor food stock levels and coordinate with supply management
  • Comply with safety and health regulations at all times
  • Assist with food service operations as needed to support hospital services
