Job Requirements
- High school education or GED preferred
- Five years commercial food preparation experience desired
- Hospital experience is highly preferred
- Ability to read and write English in order to follow recipes and plan menus
- Must comply with local, state, and federal sanitation standards
- Ability to work full-time
- Willingness to adhere to hospital policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Five years of commercial food preparation experience desired
- Hospital food service experience highly preferred
- Ability to read and write English
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
Job Duties
- Prepare patient and cafeteria food service according to local, state, and federal standards
- Adhere to sanitation and hygiene policies
- Follow recipes and menu plans accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in food preparation areas
- Collaborate with healthcare and food service teams to ensure quality service
- Monitor food inventory and supplies
- Comply with hospital regulations and safety guidelines
