Job Requirements

  • High school education or GED preferred
  • Five years commercial food preparation experience desired
  • Hospital experience is highly preferred
  • Ability to read and write English in order to follow recipes and plan menus
  • Must comply with local, state, and federal sanitation standards
  • Ability to work full-time
  • Willingness to adhere to hospital policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Hospital food service experience highly preferred
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations

Job Duties

  • Prepare patient and cafeteria food service according to local, state, and federal standards
  • Adhere to sanitation and hygiene policies
  • Follow recipes and menu plans accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in food preparation areas
  • Collaborate with healthcare and food service teams to ensure quality service
  • Monitor food inventory and supplies
  • Comply with hospital regulations and safety guidelines
