Job Requirements

  • High school education or GED preferred
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Five years commercial food preparation experience desired
  • Hospital food service experience highly preferred
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal food safety standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and plan menus
  • Commitment to maintaining sanitation and hygiene

Job Duties

  • Properly prepare patient and cafeteria food according to local, state, and federal standards
  • Adhere to strict sanitation policies to maintain food safety
  • Follow recipes accurately and assist in planning menus
  • Ensure compliance with hospital nutrition guidelines
  • Collaborate with healthcare and kitchen staff to meet dietary needs
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in food preparation areas
  • Monitor food quality and report any concerns promptly
