Job Requirements

  • High school education or GED
  • ability to read and write English
  • five years commercial food preparation experience preferred
  • prior hospital food service experience preferred
  • knowledge of sanitation and food safety standards
  • ability to comply with local, state and federal regulations
  • strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • five years commercial food preparation experience desired
  • hospital or healthcare food service experience highly preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare patient meals and cafeteria food service according to local, state and federal standards
  • adhere to sanitation policies and procedures as required by health regulations
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of food preparation areas
  • follow recipes and menu plans accurately
  • ensure food safety standards are consistently met
  • collaborate with kitchen and healthcare team to support patient dietary needs
  • monitor inventory and report supply needs
