- High school education or GED
- ability to read and write English
- five years commercial food preparation experience preferred
- prior hospital food service experience preferred
- knowledge of sanitation and food safety standards
- ability to comply with local, state and federal regulations
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Duties
- Prepare patient meals and cafeteria food service according to local, state and federal standards
- adhere to sanitation policies and procedures as required by health regulations
- maintain cleanliness and organization of food preparation areas
- follow recipes and menu plans accurately
- ensure food safety standards are consistently met
- collaborate with kitchen and healthcare team to support patient dietary needs
- monitor inventory and report supply needs
