Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Competence in computer literacy including keyboard facility, data entry, knowledge of email, use of hospital intranet
- Experience with multiple telephone lines and telephone etiquette
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Effective communication skills both in person and on the telephone
- Creative problem solving
- Ability to work effectively under direct supervision

Job Duties
- Support the patient care activities of the nursing unit through timely greeting and check-in of arriving patients
- Coordinate activities with unit staff and other departments
- Demonstrate clear, concise, accurate and timely communications with members of the health care team, patients, families and visitors
- Perform service functions including triaging, answering calls
- Assist with concerns and use of MyWall
- Work under direct supervision
- Incorporate NYULH Core Values in all aspects of job performance
