Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years in healthcare sales, business development, or referral marketing
  • Strong existing relationships with key healthcare providers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Sensitivity to terminally ill patients and families
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to meet state-specific requirements where applicable

Job Qualifications

  • Strong existing relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities or home health professionals
  • Prior experience in hospice, palliative care, or home health is a plus
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms
  • Sensitivity to the needs of terminally ill patients and their families
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding admissions and census targets

Job Duties

  • Educate healthcare professionals and referral partners about hospice services
  • Identify and develop new referral opportunities by engaging hospitals, clinics, and care facilities
  • Conduct meaningful conversations with healthcare providers to address patient needs
  • Plan and implement strategic marketing initiatives to increase referral volume
  • Represent the organization at community and professional events
  • Serve as an advocate and informational resource for patients and families regarding hospice care options
  • Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to meet admission and census goals
