Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or communications or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare sales, business development, or referral marketing
- Established relationships with healthcare professionals including physicians, hospitals, or skilled nursing facilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Sensitivity and empathy for terminally ill patients and their families
- Must meet minimum requirements to be eligible for benefits
- Must meet state-specific requirements where applicable
- Must maintain a drug-free workplace
- This is a safety-sensitive position
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years in healthcare sales, business development, or referral marketing
- Strong existing relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities or home health professionals
- Prior experience in hospice, palliative care, or home health is a plus
- Excellent communication, presentation, and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms
- Sensitivity to the needs of terminally ill patients and their families
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding admissions and census targets
Job Duties
- Educate, inform, and inspire confidence in hospice services so that the right patients are referred at the right time
- Identify new referral opportunities by calling on hospitals, home health agencies, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, clinics, and physician offices
- Engage in meaningful conversations with healthcare professionals about patient needs and how hospice care can support quality of life
- Plan and execute strategic marketing initiatives to increase awareness and drive referral growth
- Represent the organization at community events, professional associations, and educational in-services to promote services
- Serve as a resource and advocate for patients and families, ensuring they understand hospice options and benefits of early referrals
