Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in healthcare sales, business development, or referral marketing
  • Established professional relationships with healthcare providers such as physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, or home health professionals
  • Prior exposure to hospice, palliative care, or home health is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation and time-management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Demonstrated sensitivity to terminally ill patients and family needs
  • Ability to meet or surpass admissions and census goals

Job Qualifications

  • Strong existing relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities or home health professionals
  • Prior experience in hospice, palliative care, or home health is a plus

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms
  • Sensitivity to the needs of terminally ill patients and their families
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding admissions and census targets

Job Duties

  • Educate, inform, and inspire confidence in hospice services to secure timely patient referrals
  • Identify new referral opportunities by engaging hospitals, home health agencies, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, clinics, and physician offices
  • Engage in meaningful conversations with healthcare professionals regarding patient needs and hospice care benefits
  • Plan and execute strategic marketing initiatives to increase awareness and drive referral growth
  • Represent the organization at community events, professional associations, and educational in-services to promote hospice services
  • Serve as a resource and advocate for patients and families to ensure understanding of hospice options and benefits of early referrals
