Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or related field
- Minimum 2 years experience in healthcare sales, business development, or referral marketing
- Existing relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities or home health professionals
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Sensitivity to the needs of terminally ill patients and families
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to represent the company at community and professional events
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare sales, business development, or referral marketing
- Established relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities or home health professionals
- Prior experience in hospice, palliative care, or home health preferred
- Excellent communication, presentation, and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms
- Sensitivity to the needs of terminally ill patients and their families
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding admissions and census targets
Job Duties
- Educate healthcare professionals about hospice services to ensure timely patient referrals
- Identify and cultivate new referral opportunities by engaging with hospitals, home health agencies, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, clinics, and physician offices
- Conduct meaningful discussions with healthcare providers about patient needs and hospice care benefits
- Plan and implement strategic marketing campaigns to raise awareness and boost referral numbers
- Represent Heartland Hospice at community events, professional meetings, and educational sessions
- Advocate for patients and families by explaining hospice options and promoting the advantages of early referral
- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to support hospice outreach and growth
