Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years in healthcare sales, business development, or referral marketing
- Strong existing relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, or home health professionals
- Prior experience in hospice, palliative care, or home health is a plus
- Excellent communication, presentation, and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms
- Sensitivity to the needs of terminally ill patients and their families
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding admissions and census targets

Job Duties
- Educate, inform, and inspire confidence in healthcare providers about hospice services
- Identify new referral opportunities by engaging hospitals, home health agencies, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, clinics, and physician offices
- Engage in meaningful conversations with healthcare professionals about patient needs and hospice care benefits
- Plan and implement strategic marketing initiatives to increase awareness and referral growth
- Represent Gentiva at community events, professional associations, and educational in-services to promote hospice care
- Serve as a resource and advocate for patients and families to explain hospice options and benefits of early referral
- Develop and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key referral partners in the healthcare sector
