Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in activity coordination or lifestyle programming
  • Ability to recruit, train, and manage volunteers
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to create and manage event calendars and coordinate logistics
  • Knowledge of resident rights and elder care standards
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Ability to participate in Manager-on-Duty rotation and follow company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in activity planning or programming, preferably in senior living or healthcare settings
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, staff, and volunteers
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and education

Job Duties

  • Oversee the implementation of Oaks Senior Living Life Enrichment Program guidelines for residents in accordance with Oaks Senior Living philosophy of person centered lifestyle and in accordance with resident rights
  • Develop, plan and participate in the daily and weekly life enrichment programming
  • Coordinate with kitchen regarding food service for special events, provide list of absent residents during outings, coordinate snacks with planned event
  • Create a monthly activities calendar that reflects the varied interests of the residents and provides them with enriching opportunities
  • Coordinate all special events, including holiday events
  • Utilize community resources and entertainers to schedule various activities including special events
  • Strengthen local community involvement through promotion of volunteerism among members of the community
