Job Requirements

  • minimum age of 21 years old
  • must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • ability to meet specific body size limitations for aircraft safety equipment use
  • flexibility to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability and willingness to travel extensively
  • adaptability to perform various duties and perform effectively under stress
  • willingness and ability to attend 4 weeks paid training in Portland, OR
  • completion of a self-guided voice interview by specified deadline
  • compliance with tattoo policy restricting visible tattoos
  • uncompromising dedication to safety
  • possession of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to demonstrate physical fitness for job duties
  • willingness to maintain company grooming and appearance standards
  • ability to obtain and maintain a SIDA airport security badge
  • possession and/or obtainment of appropriate travel documents for unrestricted flight into Canada and the U.S.

Job Qualifications

  • minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 2 years of customer or community service experience
  • basic computer literacy and comfort with technology
  • ability to demonstrate physical ability to perform flight attendant duties
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • willingness to serve alcohol
  • ability to meet grooming, uniform and appearance standards
  • possession and/or ability to obtain a current passport with unrestricted access to the United States and Canada
  • willingness to relocate to any of the airline's flight attendant bases

Job Duties

  • understands and is in full compliance with all safety regulations
  • ensures all safety equipment on aircraft is in working order
  • greets passengers, assists with seating assignments, carry-on baggage stowage and security
  • explains and demonstrates use of safety equipment and emergency procedures on aircraft
  • prepares and serves meals and beverages, including alcohol
  • effectively markets onboard products and processes sales using a mobile device
  • calmly resolves passenger situations during flight, including medical emergencies
  • answers questions regarding flight operations and offers destination information
  • performs other duties as assigned
