Job Requirements
- Regularly work a full-time schedule with consistent, predictable attendance
- Obtain and maintain ServSafe certification
- Maintain valid Class C driver's license with acceptable motor vehicle record
- Demonstrate ability to work different or extended shifts
- Ability to assist in timely processing of HR and payroll paperwork
- Comply with all agency policies and procedures
- Commitment to program mission and equity and inclusion principles
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in food service management or related field, or comparable combination of education and experience
- One to three years supervisory or management experience in food service operations, preferably in social services or nonprofit organizations
- Valid Class C driver's license with acceptable motor vehicle record
- ServSafe certification obtained within 60 days of hire and maintained continuously
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules as needed
Job Duties
- Oversee all aspects of Hope House kitchen operations
- Supervise and train kitchen staff for effective service delivery
- Coordinate volunteer education and manage volunteer relations
- Execute meal service and pantry programming including food pick-up and donation processing
- Ensure compliance with all Preble Street policies and procedures
- Assist in program development, evaluation, resource and systems development
- Participate in community relations and support the Program Director
