Job Requirements
- high school graduate or equivalent
- minimum 6 months experience in homemaker personal care
- valid Ohio driver’s license
- proof of insurance
- valid driver’s abstract
- pass BCI and FBI background check
- current CPR and first aid certification
- dependable and self-motivated
Job Qualifications
- extremely dependable and self-motivated
- high school graduate or equivalent
- minimum 6 months experience in homemaker personal care working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- valid Ohio driver’s license with proof of insurance and driver’s abstract
- pass background check from BCI and FBI
- current CPR and First Aid certification
- ability to review responsibilities and confidently deliver services
Job Duties
- cleaning including vacuuming sweeping mopping mirrors and interior windows dishes
- laundry
- bathing assistance
- assistance with required health equipment such as wheelchairs colostomy bags walkers and other walking aids
- administering medicine based on client requirements
- verifying safety requirements including extinguishers and alarms in place and fire drill execution
- non-medical transportation for grocery errands appointments social events and day support
- chaperoning community outings during shift
- verifying all expected activities in service plans are documented
- timely reporting of daily service plan deliverables
