Job Requirements

  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • ability to pass a MN Dept of Human Services background check
  • not excluded from participating in Federal or State Healthcare Programs
  • ability to complete orientation online or a combination of in-person and online
  • must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop down to clean
  • must be able to exert up to 40 pounds of force to move objects
  • an open mind and a caring demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • experience working with individuals with disabilities or vulnerable adults
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • proficient with electronic applications such as Electronic Verification Visit App
  • strong organizational skills
  • compassionate and open-minded attitude
  • physical ability to perform housekeeping tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a respectful and compassionate manner
  • assist individuals with tasks including laundry, cleaning around the house, and preparing meals
  • use the Electronic Verification Visit App to log hours and services
  • maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
  • communicate effectively with clients and the care team to report changes or needs
  • follow all company policies and procedures regarding client care and safety
  • participate in orientation and ongoing training as required
