Job Requirements
- At least 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license for the applicable state
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
- Ability to handle guest objections and disputes satisfactorily
- Initiative in job performance
- Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Ability to assimilate complex information from disparate sources
- Effective listening and communication skills
- Ability to work with financial information and basic arithmetic functions

Job Duties
- Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times
- Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations
- Establish and maintain good communications and teamwork with fellow associates and other departments
- Monitor VIP and special guest requests and be familiar with in-house groups
- Execute all relevant phases of front desk computer systems and checklists
- Be familiar with Property Management Systems used in the hotel
- Monitor and follow up on cash overages and shortages for servers, bartenders, and baristas
- Enforce all Aimbridge Hospitality policies
- Ensure employees provide attentive, friendly, and courteous service
- Assist in preparation of staff schedules according to business forecasts
- Assist food and beverage, front desk, and housekeeping departments as needed
- Assist in training new hires and current associates
- Support the Front Office Manager in maintaining Aimbridge Hospitality standards
- Be familiar with emergency procedures and react accordingly
- Assist in monthly inventories and reconciliations
- Follow up on accidents, problems, or guest complaints
- Answer guest inquiries professionally and promptly
- Help maintain productivity levels at or above budget
- Perform other duties, attend meetings or trainings as required
- Access back of house areas and sensitive information
- Handle cash, prepare deposits, secure and balance bank
- Interact with guests and colleagues
- Manage access to sensitive hotel areas including Hotel Safe and Master Keys
- Drive safely on company business
- Maintain a high level of trust and responsibility
- Represent the company with good character and sound judgment
