Job Requirements

  • Licensed as an RN or LVN in the state of Texas
  • Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification (CPR)
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Physical ability to walk, lift, bend, kneel, see, hear, and speak clearly

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in pediatric or home health nursing preferred
  • Physical ability to walk, lift, bend, kneel, see, hear, and speak clearly

Job Duties

  • Focus on the medical needs and treatment of infants, children, and adolescents primarily in their home according to the active plan of care given by the physician and other appropriate personnel
  • Conduct patient assessments
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Coordinate care among healthcare providers and family members
  • Promote health and provide teaching to patients and families
  • Train family members in care techniques
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
