Job Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- high school diploma or equivalent
- valid U.S. driver’s license for 3+ years
- currently hold a valid Class C Texas driver’s license
- excellent driving record
- no moving violations or preventable accidents in the past 3 years
- no DWI, DUI, or related convictions
- no felony convictions
- no suspended or revoked driver licenses, permits, or privileges in any state or county
- pass a drug screen, background, and Motor Vehicle Records check
- successfully complete H-E-B’s driver training program
- regularly lift up to 55 lbs
- load and unload delivery vehicles
- work in hot, wet, cold and varying weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- Minimum age 21
- advanced customer service skills
- ability to navigate multiple iPhone applications including GPS, messaging, support portal
- able to meet company and regulatory driving record requirements
- able to work as part of a team
- able to work without direct supervision
- willingness to work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions
- attention to detail
Job Duties
- Helps retrieve orders from curbside
- loads product in delivery vehicle
- preserves condition during pickup and delivery
- engages with Customer prior to, during, and after delivery for an exceptional customer experience
- delivers Customer orders to specified location accurately, safely, and on time
- unloads Customer orders from delivery vehicle
- obtains Customer signature for order
- may assist with getting order inside
- complies with all traffic and safety laws and H-E-B policies
- maintains cleanliness of vehicle
- reports maintenance problems
- may perform other duties and attend meetings as assigned
