Job Requirements

  • Hold a class A CDL license
  • Have at least 1-year verifiable tractor/trailer experience within the previous ten years
  • No violent crime convictions including misdemeanors
  • No serious or DOT recordable accidents
  • Not have more than 3 occurrences on MVR in 36 months
  • No DUI/DWI conviction within 5 years
  • Not have a positive or adulterated controlled substance result or positive breath alcohol test
  • Must be able to drive a manual shift truck
  • High school diploma or GED
  • College degree in related field preferred

Job Duties

  • Conduct pre-trip inspections
  • Load and unload chicks or eggs carefully
  • Ensure fans and ventilation are operating properly (for chick delivery)
  • Maintain a consistent schedule for pickups (for egg truck drivers)
  • Unload, wash, and disinfect the truck at the end of each day
  • Deliver baby chicks to grower farms (for chick delivery)
  • Pick up eggs from grower farms twice a week (for egg truck drivers)
