Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- pass a background check
- have reliable transportation
- hold a driver’s license and auto insurance for client transport in Tennessee
- complete TB test and drug screening in Kentucky
- no certification required as training is provided
- ability to pass all pre-employment screenings
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior caregiving or home care experience is a plus but not required
- strong communication and listening skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- patient and compassionate attitude
- willingness to learn and complete training
- reliable and trustworthy
- valid driver’s license if required for client transportation
Job Duties
- assist clients with light housekeeping
- provide personal care and hygiene support
- prepare meals for clients
- offer companionship and social interaction
- remind clients about medication schedules
- treat clients and their property with dignity and respect
- ensure client safety and comfort
