Job Requirements

  • Three or more years of recent and related hospitality or restaurant experience including two years of supervisory experience preferably within a gaming environment
  • successful completion of Bloodborne Pathogens and hazardous material training within 3 to 6 months
  • ability to perform physical duties including walking, climbing stairs, bending, lifting up to 30 pounds, and standing for entire work shifts
  • punctual and regular attendance
  • Supervisor must wear gaming license if in possession

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstrated hospitality or restaurant management experience preferably in a gaming environment
  • experience managing employees in restaurant operations
  • ability to perform under deadlines and pressure
  • strong problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • excellent customer service skills
  • knowledge of safety, workers compensation, employment laws, and Colorado Limited Gaming Act
  • Food Handler's certification

Job Duties

  • Supervises and manages Home Cafe operations
  • acts as backup to Home Cafe staff including bus person, host/hostess, wait person, dishwasher, cook, and prep cook
  • ensures quality service to guests and employees
  • assists in supervision for compliance with safety and employment laws and Colorado Limited Gaming Act
  • manages and develops staff by assisting with hiring, training, scheduling, rewarding, disciplining, and conducting performance reviews
  • monitors employee attendance and adjusts schedules for coverage
  • ensures Home Cafe readiness including equipment, food storage, and preparation areas
  • enforces uniform and gaming license policies
  • ensures punctual and regular attendance
  • communicates company and department policies to staff
  • reviews and authorizes employee timecards
  • participates in departmental meetings and liaises with industry professionals
  • anticipates and addresses guest complaints
  • assists with monthly inventory reconciliation
  • alerts supervisor of concerns regarding food and beverage quality
  • follows security protocols to maintain safe environment
  • maintains awareness of restaurant operations and customer satisfaction
  • performs other duties and special projects as directed
