Job Requirements
- Food manager certification from prior work experience or complete Philz Coffee Food Manager certification within 30 days of employment
- Ability to operate various machines, tools, and equipment
- Visual acuity to ensure safety and accuracy
- Ability to remain stationary for minimum 3 hours
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop and kneel
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds intermittently and lift 3 pounds repetitively to shoulder height
- Ability to grasp, finger and reach
- Ability to express or exchange information verbally
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years experience managing a fast paced, high volume, customer service-oriented business preferably in food service or retail
- Proven experience managing financial performance including P&L oversight
- Ability to create an inclusive and dynamic work environment
- Strong business acumen
- Proactive self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team
- Proven ability to recruit, motivate, train and retain a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Job Duties
- Provide frontline leadership to all team members
- Manage the financial health of the store including P&L oversight
- Establish and cultivate a store culture aligned with company core values
- Train, develop and motivate team members for professional growth
- Set goals, manage performance, and hold team accountable for results
- Partner with district recruiter to attract and retain high-performing diverse talent
- Engage directly with customers and employees to inspire and be part of the experience
