Our brand new hotel located in the vibrant Silicon Valley area is seeking a dedicated Front Desk Supervisor to join our team. Situated conveniently within close proximity to San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, and Pleasanton, our hotel benefits from a strategic location in Hayward, a lively hub known for its blend of natural beauty, bustling tech companies, and California State University, East Bay. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 to 3 years of hotel or related field experience
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Compliance with Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid certifications
- Ability to lead and communicate effectively
- Problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety and service quality
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Certification compliance including Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid helpful
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Job Duties
- Greet guests with genuine warmth and keep check-ins and check-outs smooth and stress-free
- Manage reservations, VIP requests, and ensure every guest feels valued
- Track operational logs, manage messages and packages with professionalism and speed
- Monitor and strategize room rates, packages, and promotions to maximize revenue
- Build a strong, communicative team and train new front desk associates
- Address and resolve guest concerns and workplace issues with confidence and creativity
- Maintain safety standards and uphold quality service throughout front desk operations
