Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of progressive hotel sales experience preferred
  • Or a 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience
  • Or a 2-year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience
  • Valid driver’s license in the applicable state required
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate, sell, and influence
  • Thorough experience with professional selling skills: opening, probing, supporting, closing
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic vision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong organization and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and interact with people of diverse backgrounds
  • Advanced knowledge of sales, marketing, and hospitality principles
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure

Job Duties

  • Cast creative spells to fill rooms, pump up revenue, and celebrate team wins
  • Assemble, train, mentor, and inspire a diverse sales team
  • Build budgets, forecast sales, and develop marketing campaigns
  • Conduct sales calls, tours, and client meetings to network and attract business
  • Support the General Manager as the hotel’s ambassador of style and positivity
  • Collaborate across departments to enhance hotel operations and customer satisfaction
  • Lead strategic planning initiatives to position the hotel as a market leader
