Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of progressive hotel sales experience preferred
  • or a 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience
  • or a 2-year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience
  • valid driver’s license in the applicable state required
  • highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • thorough experience with professional selling skills
  • strong analytical skills and strategic vision
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge
  • ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • strong organization and presentation skills
  • demonstrated ability to manage and interact with people of diverse backgrounds
  • advanced knowledge of sales, marketing, and hospitality principles
  • ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Lead and inspire the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue goals
  • Develop and implement creative marketing and sales strategies that increase hotel bookings and event sales
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective networking and regular sales visits
  • Prepare and manage sales budgets and forecasts to ensure financial targets are met
  • Train, mentor, and motivate staff to foster a positive and productive team environment
  • Collaborate with hotel operations and support the General Manager in promoting the hotel's brand and services
  • Represent the hotel at industry events and community functions to enhance market presence
