Job Requirements
- At least 6 months experience in a similar job capacity preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly with managers and kitchen and dining room personnel
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Oregon Food Handlers Card within 30 days of employment

- Understanding of health code and safe food-handling procedures
- Ability to follow recipes and prepare food to quality standards

Job Duties
- Refer to Daily Prep List at the start of each shift for assigned duties
- Know and comply consistently with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures
- Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work station area
- Possess full understanding of health code standards and safe food-handling procedures
- Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes
- Handle, store and rotate all products properly
- Use Standard Recipe book for preparing all products
- Maintain proper cooling charts and labeling of prepped foods according to restaurant standards
- Close the kitchen
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Clear tables after guests leave
- Maintain bus-tubs, glass racks, and restock glassware
- Carry service trays and deliver food to tables
- Inspect and clean assigned restrooms every 30 minutes
- Maintain the floor, vestibule and outside areas with spot sweeps
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, silverware, glassware
- Maintain all restaurant equipment as directed
