Job Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- employed with company at least six months or with HR approval
- high school diploma or equivalent
- executed team member handbook acknowledgment form
- trained and certified in ServSafe Food, ServSafe Alcohol/TIPs, Crowd Control, MA Allergen Training, Discrimination, Harassment & Retaliation Prevention
- complete satisfactory background check prior to working in the position
- capable of standing more than eighty percent of the shift
- ability to lift up to fifty pounds
- repetitive hand and wrist motion
- participation in E-Verify employment eligibility confirmation process
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- employed with company at least six months with satisfactory performance
- must be trained and certified in ServSafe Food, ServSafe Alcohol/TIPs, Crowd Control, MA Allergen Training, Discrimination, Harassment & Retaliation Prevention
- strong knowledge of Legal Sea Foods menu, policies and procedures
- experience using point of sale and kitchen display systems
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to lead by example and demonstrate good judgment
Job Duties
- Leads restaurant HOH shift and team members in absence of senior HOH manager
- ensures restaurant is organized and staffed as per schedule through job assignments and break rotations
- assists with staffing including participating in hiring process, reviewing candidates, setting up interviews and reference checks
- manages job assignments and delegation of tasks during shift
- handles team member relations issues and escalates concerns to senior management
- provides support on point of sale and kitchen display systems
- coordinates excellent customer service and handles guest complaints promptly
- enforces company standards for safety, sanitation, and workplace respect
- adheres to operational guidelines including food specifications and sanitation procedures
- conducts training for new hires on service, sanitation, menu, and POS systems
