Job Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate
- Must complete training course for certification of beginning school food personnel as prescribed in 702 KAR 6:045
- Must meet requirements for a criminal record check as specified by Kentucky state law
- Must meet health requirements as specified in district personnel policy
- Must provide a clearance letter from the Cabinet for Health and Family Services confirming no substantiated child abuse or neglect
- Must be able to work in a school food service environment
- Must be committed to maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Completion of training course for certification of beginning school food personnel as prescribed in 702 KAR 6:045
- Compliance with Kentucky state law criminal record check requirements
- Ability to follow recipes and adhere to food safety standards
- Good organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
Job Duties
- Prepare and bake food items according to prescribed recipes and nutritional guidelines
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are strictly followed
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization
- Monitor inventory and report supply needs
- Assist in menu planning and execution
- Comply with all health and safety regulations
- Participate in trainings and certification programs
