Job Requirements

  • HS diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule for a 24/7 operation including nights, weekends, and/or holidays
  • Background check and drug screen required
  • Must be able to attain and sustain an airport I.D. badge

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Experience using computer software
  • Experience in observing CCTV cameras and working with scanners
  • Ability to solve problems under pressure
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and standards

Job Duties

  • Responsible for clearing bag jams and responding to trouble calls in the Baggage Handling System
  • Always maintain superior customer service and safe working practice
  • Maintaining cleanliness of system including sweeping, housekeeping, collecting trash, cleaning dust and debris and general housekeeping of area around system
  • Coordinate and determine the configuration changes to bypass off-service conveyors to allow technicians to correct any mechanical issues
  • Maintain a daily log and report all BHS and PBB faults and jam logs
  • Communicate with various parties on the work performed and present status of specialty systems
  • Assist with the TSA to monitor the BHS and PBB system cameras and to complete baggage tracking throughout the system
