Job Requirements
- HS diploma, GED or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule for a 24/7 operation including nights, weekends, and/or holidays
- Background check and drug screen required
- Must be able to attain and sustain an airport I.D. badge
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Experience using computer software
- Experience in observing CCTV cameras and working with scanners
- Ability to solve problems under pressure
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Knowledge of safety procedures and standards
Job Duties
- Responsible for clearing bag jams and responding to trouble calls in the Baggage Handling System
- Always maintain superior customer service and safe working practice
- Maintaining cleanliness of system including sweeping, housekeeping, collecting trash, cleaning dust and debris and general housekeeping of area around system
- Coordinate and determine the configuration changes to bypass off-service conveyors to allow technicians to correct any mechanical issues
- Maintain a daily log and report all BHS and PBB faults and jam logs
- Communicate with various parties on the work performed and present status of specialty systems
- Assist with the TSA to monitor the BHS and PBB system cameras and to complete baggage tracking throughout the system
