Job Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
- valid Liquor Commission Card and certification from alcohol awareness program required
- ability to lift up to 60 lbs
- ability to reach 8 feet
- ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours
- maintain stationary position for up to 7 hours
- ability to anticipate guest needs and respond promptly
- knowledge of hotel services, features and local attractions
- high school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate
- prior restaurant service and guest relations experience preferred

Job Duties
- Take guests' food and beverage orders utilizing suggestive selling techniques
- serve orders to guests
- prepare beverage orders such as specialty coffee, tea and other items offered in the boulangerie and restaurant
- assist guest with orders and prepare as requested ensuring timeliness
- maintain complete knowledge of bakery products, coffee and tea characteristics and description
- maintain positive guest relations and promote programs through guest interaction and feedback
- maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment
- anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests
- clean and reset tables immediately
- complete opening side duties as assigned
- complete closing side duties as assigned
- perform proper check settlement, tip reporting and closing reconciliation procedures
- replenish products in display case
- retrieve products from bakery area
- maintain, prepare and stock logo packaging items for all bakery items
- be familiar with hotel services, features and local attractions to respond to guest inquiries accurately
- resolve guest complaints ensuring satisfaction
- monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas
- check storage areas for proper supplies, organization and cleanliness
- establish par levels and check status of all orders ensuring delivery within designated timelines
- assist other staff whenever necessary
- complete all paperwork and closing duties in accordance with departmental standards
- perform all other duties as assigned
