Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years prior retail experience preferred
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in apparel, service or specialty store environment preferred
- prior experience with computerized POS system preferred
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to manage multiple customers simultaneously
- proficiency with technology tools such as iPads and POS systems
- committed to delivering exceptional customer service
- ability to work flexible weekday and weekend hours

Job Duties
- Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm over the phone and in person
- communicate clearly and concisely adapting style to suit customers
- use all systems to manage the customer flow to deliver 5-star customer experience
- prepare for customer appointments by reviewing customer profiles and preparing fitting rooms
- build relationships by understanding customer expectations and needs
- strive to identify the perfect gown or dress in the first three try-ons
- review timeline calendar and set future appointments
- communicate the importance of alterations and partner with alterations specialists
- ensure proper measurements are taken and entered for ordering dresses
- maintain store standards including cleanliness and promotional readiness
- adhere to dress code standards
- promote David's Bridal loyalty and partners program
- respond promptly to customer questions providing product and service information
- maintain hourly sales productivity using the 5-step selling process
- support cash wrap behavior and process transactions accurately
- achieve platform conversion and add-on sales goals
- set comeback appointments for the full wedding party
- continually build product knowledge and fashion trend expertise
- execute new processes, behaviors, contests and programs as assigned
- perform duties such as promotion setup, merchandising and inventory counts
- support the store to achieve sales, service and operational goals
- accurately clock in and out for shifts
- follow loss prevention and security policies
- focus on personal development and complete assigned training
- celebrate team successes and share expertise
- open to coaching and feedback
- complete all required courses within 90 days
