Job Requirements

  • Must be an experienced CDL-A driver
  • have a valid CDL-A license
  • no more than two moving violations in past three years
  • no at-fault accidents or preventable wrecks
  • no participation in SAP programs or safety probation history
  • able to stay on the road 2-3 weeks at a time
  • professional, reliable, and accountable

Job Qualifications

  • Valid CDL-A license
  • proven experience as CDL-A driver with no more than two moving violations in three years
  • clean safety record with no at-fault accidents or preventable wrecks
  • ability to stay on the road 2-3 weeks
  • professional demeanor and accountability
  • openness to learning new freight systems and dispatch practices

Job Duties

  • Drive commercially approved vehicles safely and professionally
  • listen to training audio e-books during drive time
  • participate in evening webinars for freight dispatcher instruction
  • plan and manage freight loads and routing
  • maintain professional accountability and reliability
  • learn and utilize freight dispatch systems
  • prepare for transition to a dispatcher role
