The family consists of two parents and two children aged 7 and 9, who although enthusiastic eaters with sophisticated palates, require assistance with their culinary needs. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional cooking experience
  • Experience working as a private or personal chef preferred
  • Ability to shop for and select high-quality fresh ingredients
  • Knowledge of nutrition and dietary restrictions
  • Valid driver’s license for grocery and supply shopping
  • Ability to work 20 to 25 hours per week
  • Commitment to maintaining kitchen hygiene and food safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a private chef or personal chef
  • Expertise in clean, healthy cooking and menu creation
  • Strong knowledge of ingredient sourcing and food safety
  • Excellent culinary skills with attention to presentation

  • Flexibility to accommodate family schedule and special events

Job Duties

  • Preparing and serving weekly dinners for the family plus any guests
  • Planning weekly menus
  • Preparing lunch and dinner
  • Shopping and sourcing ingredients, wine and spirits, and other supplies
  • Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organization
  • Ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met
  • Collaborating with family members regarding meal preferences and special occasions
