Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking in a professional kitchen
  • high school diploma or equivalent

  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking in a professional kitchen

  • experience in a hotel or related field preferred
  • food handlers certification as required by state regulations

Job Duties

  • Prepare all food items based on standardized recipes ensuring high standards of quality and presentation
  • maintain cleanliness sanitation and safety in the kitchen and work areas at all times
  • complete necessary food and station preparations efficiently to ensure prompt service during operating hours
  • convey information and ideas clearly and work effectively in high-pressure situations
  • evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately to address kitchen challenges
