Job Requirements

  • Minimum three years of progressive chef experience in a hotel or related field
  • Supervisory experience required
  • Proficient with company-approved spreadsheets and word processing software
  • Valid driver’s license for the applicable state
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to make quick, accurate decisions and stay composed under pressure
  • Skilled at analyzing complex information and adapting to meet needs
  • Effective in understanding and resolving coworker and guest concerns
  • Comfortable with financial data and basic arithmetic

  • Manage and prepare assigned kitchen station including grill, sauté, pantry, or pastry

  • Collaborate with other chefs to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen operation
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Enforce safety, sanitation, and presentation standards consistently
  • Maintain inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies
  • Infuse creativity and positivity into daily kitchen operations
