Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in a high volume, full service restaurant
  • proficiency in Windows operating systems and related software
  • strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • ability to maintain composure in high-pressure environments
  • knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
  • ability to handle financial data and budgeting
  • certification or willingness to obtain Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR and First Aid

Job Duties

  • Produce innovative and diversified menus that reflect the restaurant's overall vision
  • train kitchen staff to adhere to restaurant policies and sanitation regulations
  • organize, schedule, and direct kitchen staff to ensure operations are carried out effectively
  • design aesthetic plating presentations
  • ensure hygiene and food safety requirements are met
  • maintain kitchen inventory and assigned budget
  • approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service oriented manner
