Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year progressive experience in a hotel or related field required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Alcohol Awareness Certification must comply with state regulations
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and demonstrate initiative
  • Strong proficiency in financial tasks and arithmetic

Job Duties

  • Lead the charge in setting up, servicing, and breaking down banquet events according to Banquet Event Orders
  • Maintain high standards in appearance, service, and safety including compliance with policies and liquor laws
  • Rally the team, assign tasks, conduct pre-event huddles, and train new staff
  • Act as liaison between Sales, Catering, and guests to resolve issues and maintain guest satisfaction
  • Manage schedules, wage reports, inventory, beverage service, and financial paperwork with accuracy
  • Assist with audio/visual setup, attend meetings, handle lost and found, and secure sensitive areas while representing the company professionally
